How We Protect Health Care Provider's Information

We also offer encryption, authentication and secured logins to clients and prospective clients. Once we receive your transmission, we ensure its security in our systems by making reasonable efforts to protect the information.

How We May Use and Disclose Protected Health Information under HIPAA

As "Business Associates" of health care providers, we are committed to protecting and safeguarding patients' protected health information. HLS will make sure that all medical information about a patient is kept private, subject to permissible exceptions under HIPAA:

  • Reimbursement, Claim Payment and Collections Services: HLS needs to use and disclose medical information to third party payers or insurance companies for reimbursement, claims payment or collections operations.
